About us

Set up in December 2024, Interleaved ezine focuses on primarily UK-based creatives, showcasing artists and conservationists, historians, writers, storytellers and innovators of all sorts who shed light on the power of the interdisciplinary in aiding nature conservation.

Interleaved was founded by us- long-term friends Sofia (MSc Science Communications specialising in sustainable fashion) and Lotte (MA Environmental Humanities specialising in environmental literature and conservation), based in East Sussex.

We studied undergraduate Biology and Zoology respectively, both moving on to interdisciplinary masters programmes due to our lifelong love of the natural world and desire to engage with it in a more creative manner. This online magazine is a compilation of our own work, as well as the work of others who inspire and motivate us to continue pursuing interdisciplinarity in conservation.
